I have lived in town with my family since 1996 and have watched it change over the years. Some of the rural character of the town has disappeared over the years. The Bennett Turkey farm down Main Street from my house is now a housing development and so is the former farm on Stony Hill Road.
As time goes on everything changes, some changes like those in nature can be slow and can take thousands or even millions of years, but even in nature changes can happen overnight when there is a fire, flood, or some other natural disaster.
Men tend to make changes faster as they decide to change the landscape or tear down building and rebuild with new ones.
With photography we can record the way things look at a point in time and refresh our memories of the way we were.
